Creating a Peaceful World Where People Are Connected

Across the globe, humanity faces a wide range of crises—war, nuclear weapons, poverty and hunger, global warming, and political division. In addition, new threats have emerged from the misuse of generative AI, social media, robotics, and genetic technologies, leaving many people anxious about the future.

When we probe the root causes of these problems, they all lead back to the human heart. Ultimately, they are issues of the value systems that guide our decisions. If we move beyond reactive behavior based on superficial values and instead act from the deeper foundation of intrinsic human values, the entire world can be transformed.

Through dialogue that nurtures mutual understanding, people can transcend the barriers of the individual and the nation, building relationships of trust, solidarity, and shared support. In this way, we can envision a peaceful world in which people are truly connected with one another.

Yet, to reach this goal, a reform of the quality of humanity is essential for all people worldwide. Our Institute is committed to establishing the foundations of these intrinsic human values and philosophies, and to linking them with a broad international movement that paves the way toward a world free from war and discrimination.
